About the work:

The red shoes and the plumage of this heron immediately inspired me the title of this colorful and textured work. No one can resist this charming dancer who proudly shows off his beautiful flowery chest. I had fun working the flowers with a lot of texture, so much so that you can see shadows under some flowers when they are exposed to the sun! You can see it in the photo of me, taken outside with the work. Did you notice? Go see!

I had to place it in a setting with flamboyant and warm colors, but the heron also evokes softness and fantasy to me. I even imagine it dancing!

Note his beautiful white and blue socks.
